Fruits and flowers

On an exercise ride yesterday I found quite a lot of fruit on various trees and vines.

Lilli pilli (Acmena smithii)

No idea what this lurid specimen was.  Suggestions welcome.

Not all berries are good!  Cotoneaster is a nasty invasive weed, much gobbled by Pied Currawongs and then seeds crapped out to grow everywhere.

In the afternoon we walked the Davis Beach-Chip Track loop, returning up the road.  Some wattles are beginning to flower.  First is Acacia suavolens.

Then Acacia myrtifolia.
