Closing off 17 May 2020
As the day moved towards evening there were a lot of cirrus clouds high in the sky. In the UK this formation was called mare's tails.
It was cold in higher levels giving an inversion, keeping the smoke close to, if not on, the water.
As the sun set the sky filled with colour.
