Beach Photos

Needing to get out of the house again I thought it would be interesting to check out Quarry and Betka beaches.  At Quarry beach some sand has been lost.

 Not a good day for a pelagic.

 More sand lost round the corner!  Presumably it will all end up at the boat ramp at Bastion in a few days!

 The stratified rocks looked nice and clean

 The creek running out of the airfield was running strongly.  I got damp feet jumping across some rocks and Frances decided she was likely to get more wet so we gave up and went to Betka!

 Other than a reasonable collection of waders the main thing at Betka was a mass of Fucus sp. seaweed.
